Limited Edition SNIK Prints Released to Support New Brighton’s Next Landmark Mural
Every major mural in New Brighton begins long before a spray can touches a wall. It starts with conversations, ideas, small acts of support and a community deciding — together — that a new piece of art is worth bringing into the world.
As we prepare for SNIK’s new mural, planned for February 2026, we’re opening something special to help make it happen: a limited number of one-off screenprints from SNIK’s Morning Lights series, released exclusively to support the project.
If you know SNIK’s work, you’ll know why this matters. Their detailed, multi-layered stencil technique has become globally recognised, and Morning Lights is one of their most intricate print series — fourteen layers, hand-finished variants, rich seasonal palettes, and the kind of craftsmanship that rewards repeated looking. Each piece is signed, numbered, and unique.
These prints aren’t just art objects; they’re stepping stones to the mural itself. Every sale goes directly toward realising one of the most ambitious works ever created for the OpenAir Gallery — a tribute to New Brighton In Bloom and the volunteers who quietly transform our streets every day.
About the Series
Morning Lights explores how early light shifts through the seasons — winter blues, soft spring tones, saturated summer colour, and the warmth of golden hour. Six variants make up the collection, each with its own character:
Winter Deep – Blue edition of 21
Winter Pale – White edition of 23
Autumn Turn – Orange–yellow edition of 20
Spring Bloom – Pink–red edition of 19
Summer Pulse – Fluoro edition of 20
Golden Hour – Gold leaf edition of 22
All prints measure 78 x 71.5 cm, produced as fourteen-layer silkscreens on 300gsm Somerset paper. Every coloured variant is hand-painted before printing, making no two pieces alike.
How to Get One
We’ve made a small number of prints available for supporters who want to help bring this mural to life. If you’re interested, simply get in touch with NBCF and we’ll share the current availability and details.
Whether you’re a collector, a supporter of the arts, or someone who just wants to see New Brighton continue to grow its creative identity, this is a meaningful way to be part of the story.
Why This Matters
Public art doesn’t appear out of thin air. It’s built by people who care — the volunteers planting flowers, the residents who champion new ideas, the local businesses who back creative projects, and the artists who bring imagination to our walls.
By supporting this print release, you’re helping us create a landmark mural that celebrates that spirit.
As always, thank you. New Brighton is at its strongest when we build things together.
